About Gallery Consulting
Knowledge of objects. Experience of the market.
Gallery Consulting combines art history, antiques-market experience and professional photography to help dealers present valuable objects with clarity, authority and commercial purpose.

A particular perspective
The object comes before the formula.
Caroline Coyner trained in art history and museology at the École du Louvre, worked at the Château de Versailles and spent years managing an antiques gallery in the United States. That background informs how Gallery Consulting approaches attribution, materials, condition, scale and the practical realities of selling inventory online.
Professional photography adds another layer: an understanding of how lighting, angle and detail can clarify construction and surface without making an object feel clinical.
Her museum work includes photography for the Musée d’Orsay, with images used in exhibition catalogues and publications.
